The creative vision of Rockland’s costume design was a joy to bring to life. I stepped up as draper for this production and was able to communicate the imaginative concepts swirling around Rockland’s brain to the rest of the team.
The entire design was focused on making every day objects into garments a street performer would wear on stage. This included a used paint drop cloth (right), shower curtains (above), garbage bags, and gardening gloves (below).
Plastic materials were draped and then hand tacked onto bodices for both main characters.
