3D Character Puppets

The assignment was to first design two characters, then one character would be made from reticulated foam and the other would be made from repurposed materials.

Clay is sculpted to make the shape and tape is marked to define pattern lines
A pattern is made from those tape shapes
Those flat foam pieces are glued to make 3D shapes of your character
Detail work of under mushroom cap out of EVA foam
Structure of robot made from pool noodles and insulation wrap
