Steampunk Rabbit Cosplay
For the Steampunk World’s Fair in 2016, I created a humanoid rabbit cosplay with digitigrade legs and a realistic head.

The head is made from thermoreactive plastic called Worbla, the ears from wire mesh, with fake fur glued down and painted with a dry brush for detail.

The digitigrade legs are foam shapes glued to pants with layers of batting creating smooth transitions. The knee is in two pieces in order to create a more realistic movement when walking.
Covered in the fake fur these legs create a very light and simple solution to two legged animal costumes.
