This design was a prompt from a course on costume design. The prompt was to design costumes for Midsummer Nights Dream and to include some aspect of Elizabethan era but to avoid simply creating a period piece. We were encouraged to look to other cultures and to consider how the dynamics between the different groups could affect their designs.
